Kumogakure-ryu Ninpo Happo Hiken translated into English as "The Hiding in the Clouds School". It is one of the nine schools of martial arts within the Bujinkan sphere of training. According to the Bujinkan, the first Soke and the founder was Heinaizaemon Ienaga Iga. According to the Bujinkan, fighting techniques are similar to those in Togakure Ryu.

Kumogakure Ryu uses techniques with spear, sword and also yoroi (armor). There are special weapons for this school including Ippon Sugi Noburi. Masaaki Hatsumi is the 14th Soke.
